Video loops and borders

Forum member SamHogy has come up with the great idea for using animated videoloops to create a border effect using some special transitions within Movie Maker 2. The post features links to a couple of videos that demo this cool technique using one of the loops available for download on this site.
I’ve had a little play with this technique – my results can be seen in the video below:

The texture motion borders were created using 4 customised “Split video transitions” and various texture/video loops from my site . The transitions are available to download on the link below. Transitions of this type have no movement – they are simply a method of being able to display two videos at the same time. Here is how it would appear in the timeline:
