Rough Guide

Hopefully this page will be developed over time to become more informative and helpful. In the meantime :

To use overlay images with PIP plus, save the PNG overlay images AND the XML files to here :
C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared\AddOnTFX

(Please note that the above file paths are typical . You may have problems if your filepaths for these folders are different. If that's is the case I would suggest you seek help over at the forums of www.windowsmoviemakers.net



If you are copying and pasting the xml code from one of the pages listed on this site you will need to paste that code in to notepad (or a simmilar text editor) and save the doc with a .xml extension. The name of the xml file is not important but the xml extension is . Here are a couple of examples

myoverlays.xml
glassoverlays.xml
